8 Of The Best Coffee Shops In Marlow 2026

View of Marlow, Buckinghamshire UK

The beautiful leafy town of Marlow in the heart of Buckinghamshire is the perfect day trip destination. Sat on the banks of the River Thames, close to historic sites like Windsor Castle and lined with cute boutiques and parks, all you need is a cosy coffee shop to top off your visit.

Read on to discover my favourite tried and tested spots in town!

1. Fego

Opening hours:

Mon – Sun: 08:00 – 16:00

We’re starting off strong with absolute local favourite Fego. This cosy café is perfectly positioned right on the high street and might look small from the outside but is deceptively spacious inside. Head into their larger conservatory style room at the back for a little sunshine.

Not only is their coffee here delicious but they also serve an incredible breakfast, brunch and lunch menu. From pancakes with fruit and bacon to poached eggs and avocado on toast, this is the place to start the weekend off right!

Just be warned, it is very popular so get there early to secure a table! Unfortunately, they don’t take bookings, so it’s first come first served.

2. The Mixing Jug

Opening hours:

Mon – Sat: 08:00 – 18:00
Sun: 09:00 – 17:00

Tucked in a sunlit courtyard behind the main high street, you’ll find bright and modern Mixing Jug. With indoor and outdoor seating this is the perfect choice on sunny days to sit back and catch some rays.

They serve excellent barista quality coffee that’s locally roasted alongside a whole range of fresh smoothies, juices and bagels. So you can consider this a coffee stop that’s not only delicious but good for you too!

3. GAIL’s

Opening hours:

Mon – Sun: 07:00 – 18:00

For coffee with a side of freshly baked flaky pastries, GAIL’s is the one. This is a spin-off branch of the very successful London chain and I don’t normally like to include chain coffee shops but GAIL’s is a little different…

Not only is the quality of their coffee and pastries just incredible but it still has that smaller café feeling. Stop by for a brew and to drool over their sweet and savoury bakes!

4. Strawberry Grove

Opening hours:

Mon – Sun: 09:00 – 17:00

Further down the high street towards Marlow Bridge and the River Thames, you’ll find Strawberry Grove. This is a laid-back super friendly café with a really extensive coffee menu alongside other drinks like matcha, hot chocolate and tea.

As the space is more relaxed, it’s really child-friendly and they allow dogs inside as well so it’s perfect for families. They also serve a whole range of homemade cakes, hearty sandwiches and salads so it’s a great choice if you’re feeling a little more hungry too.

5. Satollo

Opening hours:

Mon – Thu: 08:00 – 17:00
Fri – Sat: 08:00 – 20:00 Sun: 09:00 – 16:30

Just next door to The Mixing Jug in the same sun-dappled courtyard you’ll find Italian-inspired Satollo. Where you can enjoy an authentic Italian coffee and Neapolitan sweet treats like chocolate cornettos and cream-filled cannolis.

So for a flavour of Italy in the heart of England, choose Satollo!

6. Megan’s

Opening hours:

Mon – Wed: 08:30 – 22:00
Thu – Sat: 08:30 – 23:00 Sun: 09:00 – 21:00

For the most stylish place in town, choose Megan’s. Again this is a growing small chain of cafés that started life in London and has found a new home in Marlow. With a mediterranean feel and flavour-inspired menu it packs a punch.

Head here for coffee and brunch or lunch for the full experience. Just be sure to book ahead as word has got out how good this place is!!

7. Burgers of Marlow

Opening hours:

Mon – Fri: 08:30 – 16:00
Sat: 09:00 – 16:00 Sun: Closed

For the ultimate British afternoon coffee experience, choose Burgers (pronounced bur-jers) opposite Higginson Park. With a classic tearoom interior it’s a little like stepping back in time. You could easily spend a couple of hours here enjoying a full afternoon spread of sandwiches, scones, jam and cream with your coffee.

Or if you’re shorter on time, stop by to soak up the atmosphere and select one of their beautiful glazed fruit tarts to go with your coffee.

8. Tin Town Coffee

Opening hours:

Mon – Fri: 07:30 – 16:00
Sat: 08:00 – 14:00 Sun: 09:30 – 12:30

Last but by no means least is a spot a little out of town. Over in bordering village, Marlow Bottom you’ll find the cosy Tin Town Coffee. This is just a five minute drive from Marlow and is a great option if you’re having trouble finding somewhere to park or a coffee shop with a free table in the centre of town.

As Marlow is such a lovely place, it can get super busy especially in the summer months and so having a back up option that dodges the crowds is important! Tin Town Coffee is just that, a lovely café with parking outside where you can grab a great coffee and relax in the sun!

There we have it, that’s my round up of the best coffee shops in the beautiful town of Marlow. If you’ve got any questions about visiting Marlow or the surrounding area, please drop them in the comments box below. Happy travelling!
