1. Love Coffee
Opening hours:
Mon – Fri 08:00 – 18:00

First things first, Love Coffee is so nice it features twice. This Lund-based coffee roaster has two coffee bars in the city and both are brilliant. Expect only the highest quality freshly roasted coffee brewed by expert baristas in their stylish spaces.
From espressos to pour over and cold brew – they do it all. Plus, their team are super friendly and happy to answer any coffee-related questions you might have and you can pick up a bag of your favourite beans to take away.
Both of their locations are equally lovely and both have some outdoor seating to catch the rays on sunny days. 10/10 recommend!
2. MANNZ BAGERI
Opening hours:
Mon – Fri 07:00 – 18:00
Sat 08:00 – 16:00 Sun 09:00 – 16:00
For the best freshly baked Swedish pastries with your coffee, MANNZ is the place. This is one of the friendliest bakeries I’ve ever set foot in. The owner stops by each little table to check you’re happy, offering glasses of water, extra milk for your coffee and local tips.
They’ve achieved a 4.9 star rating for a reason – their range of baked treats are some of the best in the city. From sweet buns and traditional cardamom rolls to flaky fruit filled pastries, you’ll need to keep coming back to try them all. Plus, their coffee is delicious and perfectly brewed.
Just note, you won’t find an extensive coffee menu here, it’s just excellent quality filter coffee and milk – the perfect pairing with a morning pastry.
3. Broder Jakobs Stenugnsbageri
Opening hours:
Mon – Fri 07:00 – 19:00
Sat 07:00 – 17:00 Sun 09:00 – 17:00
For barista quality coffee with your pastries, family-run Broder Jakobs is a great choice. From a morning sweet treat and coffee to afternoon Swedish fika everything is delicious and served in their beautiful cosy café.

4. Café No. 6
Opening hours:
Mon – Fri 09:00 – 15:00

If you’re heading to Lund mid-week then this spot right by Lund Central Station is ideal. Their sunny corner position is perfect for sitting back and sipping a fresh coffee while you watch the world go by.

5. Patisserie Botan
Opening hours:
Mon – Sun 11:00 – 17:00 (just double check their Instagram account for closures)
The prettiest café in town has to be Patisserie Botan, positioned right next to the lily pond in the botanical gardens. The gardens are free to enter so you can stroll through the blooms on your way through and then enjoy your coffee and sweet treats surrounded by nature.
Especially in the late spring and summer, this is a gorgeous spot! Just be sure to check their Instagram account before you visit as although they’re open every day, the glass houses next door are currently being refurbished which is impacting café opening hours.
6. Old Town Cafe Taiwan Corner
Opening hours:
Mon – Fri 10:00 – 18:00
Sat 10:00 – 17:00 Sun Closed
For fresh new flavours, head to this Taiwanese café where you can enjoy brilliant coffee as well as matcha lattes, bubble tea and more. Plus, don’t forget to try their well-loved cakes and brownies or even a savoury meal from their full lunch menu – their crispy chicken is particularly popular!
7. il Café D´italia
Opening hours:
Mon – Fri 08:00 – 18:00
Sat – Sun 10:00 – 17:00
Heading back across Europe, as the name suggests this café blends traditional Swedish dishes with delicious Italian flavours. Think strong coffee, tiramisu pastries and toasted panini served in their fresh and stylish space.
This really is a brilliant option if you’re wanting coffee and a light lunch. Plus, their team are super friendly and welcoming, what more could you want?!
8. Minú
